Image Parallax

I don't see the Visual Composer element for your plugin!
Check Visual Composer's access rules. Many custom WordPress Themes with embedded Visual Composer utilizes it to filter out selected plugins.

I don't see your Parallax Settings in the Row Element of Visual Composer!
Please update your copy of our Video and Parallax Backgrounds. Our latest version uses independent elements and no longer hooks to Visual Composer's row properties.

My background is showing up as a thin line/too short.
By default, the background size is based on your container's size. This will mean that you have to add top/bottom padding or empty spaces in order to add some height in your background.

Why is my Parallax Image stretching too much that it looks pixellated?
Using small images on parallax will cause pixelation. We recommended sizes of at least 1600px on width and 1000px on height for minimum size of images.

My Image Parallax 'zoomed in' when I tried to add more scroll speed on it.
This is not a problem, but a part of our plugin’s behavior. This is to assure that our Image Parallax will keep intact with no white gaps.
To fix this, please upload a larger image.

When I used my Image Parallax, some of the elements I am using on top of it becomes hidden. What should I do?
This happens when some of the themes are using CSS rules that overrides our plugin's CSS. To fix this, all you need to do is to add a Custom CSS by adding a z-index in your elements. Values known to work in usual cases are at -1 or 1.

My Image Parallax doesn't seem to work properly, it only starts working properly again when I refresh the window/open the inspector/resizing the window.
In cases like this, you'll need to add a Raw JS that will trigger the Parallax to work. You can add this in your Raw JS element:

<script> setTimeout( function() { jQuery(window).trigger('resize'); }, 400 ); </script>

Take note that you'll probably need to adjust the code according to where you'll place the Javascript, whether in your theme's designated section, Visual Composer's custom Javascript provision, or the like.

The Image Parallax doesn't work at all!
You'll need to check for the causes. First off, please check your settings if you missed any of them. Then, you'll also need to check your Console using the Inspector and see if there is any JS Errors.

Video Backgrounds

My background is showing up as a thin line/too short.
By default, the background size is based on your container's size. This will mean that you have to add top/bottom padding or empty spaces in order to add some height in your background.

My Video Background doesn't show in mobile.
Mobile phones and tablets don’t support Video Backgrounds at the moment. What you can do is to set a Fallback Image in your Design Options. This will replace a supposedly disabled Video Background in the mobile.

My Video Background doesn't show up at all!
Please check if you entered the correct URL of your video. Also, the video should not be set as Private, set it for public or unlisted.

If none of these doesn't work in your case, you may have to check your site's console and see if there is any JS Error around your site. By then, the JS Error you have should be addressed in order for the Video Background and other plugins that uses JS to work properly.

My Video Background is showing black bars and its not desirable at all!
The black bars can be removed, given if these black bars doesn't really exists in your video in the first place.
You can do this by changing your Video’s Aspect Ratio. It is set as 16:9 by default, but this can be modified to suit in your Video Background.

My Video Background is showing a Play Button on the middle. How can I remove this?
This problem happens in Vimeo Videos. And you can fix this by doing this in your settings:
When I used my Video Background, some of the elements I am using on top of it becomes hidden. What should I do?
This happens when some of the themes are using CSS that overrides our plugin's CSS. To fix this, all you need to do is to add a Custom CSS by adding a z-index in your elements.

There's ads in my YouTube videos!
Disable monetization in your video that you wish to use as background.

Hover Backgrounds

My background is showing up as a thin line/too short.
By default, the background size is based on your container's size. This will mean that you have to add top/bottom padding or empty spaces in order to add some height in your background.

My Hover Background 'zoomed in' when I tried to add more scroll speed on it.
This is not a problem, but a part of our plugin’s behavior. This is to assure that our Hover Background will keep intact with no white gaps. To avoid this problem, make sure your images have equal width and height.

Color Cycle Background

My background is showing up as a thin line/too short.
By default, the background size is based on your container's size. This will mean that you have to add top/bottom padding or empty spaces in order to add some height in your background.

When I used my Color Cycle Background, some of the elements I am using on top of it becomes hidden. What should I do?
This happens when some of the themes are using CSS that overrides our plugin's CSS. To fix this, all you need to do is to add a Custom CSS by adding a z-index in your elements.

Can I use two or more color cycle elements?
Yes you can, and as long as two or elements do not target the same single element (ie. color and color, or background and background). If this happens, the last color cycle element that targets an element will prevail, ignoring the previous ones that does.
